I want to talk to you about Project 24 and which types of websites probably won’t work with the program. So if you have one of these websites or you’re planning to build a type of website in this list, then Project 24, probably isn’t a good investment for you.
But if you stick around to the end of the video, I’ll be talking about some niche. And how to choose a niche that will work for this type of program. So stick around for that. So, first thing, I just wanna say that Project 24 is really aimed at those internet marketers who want to build a website that’s incredibly helpful to their users.
By following the course, you’re gonna learn how to get a hundred percent organic traffic from Google and even useful traffic from social media. Without the need for paid traffic. Now you may think that every single website is the same, that they’re trying to be very helpful, but the way that we do it is very different.
And because of this, the model doesn’t work for every type of website out there. So let’s go through my list and see if you’ve got the type of website that just won’t fit with Project 24. So the first thing on my list are niches in the, your money or your life. So these are things like finance blogs, or even health blogs.
The problem here is that Google has updated the algorithm and they are really cracking down on smaller blogs in these types of niches. If you’ve got a blog that talks about how to deal with your personal finance or anything connected to health, you really need to have good E a T.
If this isn’t the case, then you’re gonna lose out to these bigger websites that seem to have a little bit more authority on this. so this really isn’t a good choice. If you want to follow the Project 24 program, another example of a website that probably won’t work with Project 24 is if you are a local business owner and hoping to set up a local business website.
Now local SEO is really a different kettle of fish to what we do in Project 24. In Project 24, we are really focused on international traffic and particularly from the. Now local SEO really works in a very different way. And although in the course, there’s going to be a lot of resources that you can use.
And there’s a lot of actionable steps. The problem is for me, there won’t be enough focus on local SEO. So I’m not sure if it’s really worth the investment for you. Another type of website that probably won’t work very well with Project 24 is anything to do with news or products that change very quickly in the marketplace.
Now, the way that news works on Google is very different to other types of queries. And it’s not really something that we cover a lot. In Project 24, it’s not something that Jim and Ricky really teach us. Also, if you are dealing with any type of niche, like electronics, so mobile phones, cell phones, things where the products change very quickly and they’re replaced by new models.
This won’t work in the long term because of a post on a particular. Could take up to 35 weeks to get to 90% of the traffic that it will get during its life on your website. And the problem here is if you are waiting that long and then within a month or two, those types of products that you are talking about change, you’re always gonna be updating your website and it’s never really gonna mature.
So although there’s a lot of really useful information for these types of websites within the course, I don’t think I would focus on a niche or type of website that falls into this category. It’s not really gonna be worth your time. Another type of website that I don’t think would work very well.
Project 24 is a directory website, to be honest. These types of websites, they can only work in a very particular type of niche. And to be honest, I think that Google local Yahoo local Bing local. They’ve really taken over the directory game and it’s not really something that I put a lot of time and effort into.
And it’s certainly something that Project 24 doesn’t dedicate any time to. So if this is your plan, I wouldn’t invest in Project 24 to help you with that. So another kind of website that probably doesn’t go hand in hand with Project 24 is any sort of eCommerce store, something like Shopify. So if you are selling your own products or your drop shipping or doing print on demand, this is a great business model.
But you’re not really gonna get a lot of useful tips or support or any training in Project 24. The issue is that Project 24 is mainly focused on blogging, where we write long articles, which will rank for particular queries. This simply won’t work for any basic product page you might have on a Shopify website.
So if this is your plan, there are a lot of great courses out there that will give you full training. But Project 24 really isn’t one of them, another type of website that would not work very well. Project 24 is something to do with our high competition niche. Let’s take fitness for example, Now, although the methods that we’re taught in Project 24 can work for any type of blog or any type of niche.
The issue here is that something like fitness is so saturated, that it’s very difficult to find any sort of crack in the market. And if you can’t do that, then it’s gonna take you a lot of. And you’re not gonna see the same type of success you might in another niche. So as a general rule of thumb in Project 24, what we told is money.
Why go to the extra effort of trying to get one of those high competition niches, where you can make. The same money or more money elsewhere.
