Whenever you hear something that seems too good to be true, let’s face it, it normally is.
This is definitely how I felt when I first started watching the Income School YouTube channel a couple of years ago.
At the time they were saying a lot of thing which were very different to the other internet ‘gurus’ out there, so could they be trusted?
Luckily I did sign up to their course, Project 24, so I can tell you whether or not their system works.
Project 24 is an internet marketing course which does help its student achieve a passive income stream over time. The concepts taught will generate organic traffic. However, it is not guaranteed to work and largely depends on the student’s ability to put the lessons learned into practice.
I personally have been able to generate organic traffic to all of the sites that I’ve built using the system and the only limit was my own ability to find the gaps in the market I needed.
What I’d like to do in the rest of this article is just to go over a few ideas which you will need to consider if you are thinking about investing in this course.
What is the ’60 steps to success’ course about?
Project 24 is a training course which is build on several different mini courses. However the two pillars to the program are the ’60 Steps to Blogging Success’ and ’60 Steps to Success on YouTube ‘.
As the name suggests, each of the courses has 60 steps, or lessons, in them and they are intended to bring you success using each platform.
However, these courses are only really designed to get you started in the right direction. After that, you just need to continue producing the appropriate type of content as your blog of channel grows.
How long does it take to complete the step course?
Project 24 is based on several mini course which are all step by step or lessons in nature. When it comes to the two pillar courses, but being 60 steps, time is a factor.
Ideally, especially with building a blog or YouTube channel, you want to produce a fair chunk of content as soon as possible.
So, if you follow the two courses and do one step per day, it will take you 60 days to complete each one. This is something to aim for but even if it took you a little bit longer you will probably see success.
For blogging, income school teaches you about the content mix which will help you produce three types of posts which will go after different levels of competitive queries.
In order to build trust with Google, you really need to produce at least these 30 posts in only a couple of months. If you were to write 30 posts over a year instead you will likely not see the expected progress.
When it comes to creating a YouTube channel, you need to publish two videos every week at least until you hit your 1000 subscriber and 4000 watch hour minimum in order to monetize the channel.
Producing so many videos can be very stressful, so creating a certain amount of videos before you launch the channel is recommended. This is in fact what you will be told to do in the ’60 steps to success on YouTube’ course.
By dedicating one or two hours a day you will be able to complete each course in about 60 days.
This is what I managed to do.
How can you reach success more quickly?
I heard a lot of Project 24 members reach a full time income. I’ve also noticed some trends.
Having an established site/channel
Quite often we’ll hear stories of people who had been struggling to grow a website or YouTube channel suddenly see success after joining Project 24.
I certainly feel like that myself.
It’s not so much that it happens overnight, but by taking a new and better approach, the Project 24 method, people see success happen much sooner.
Certain niches
Not all niches were built equally.
In my experience it’s very rare to see rapid success in the traditionally recommended niches (health & fitness, finance, make money online).
With the Project 24 method you will see much better success and much sooner in under served niches which fall under the hobby umbrella.
Think pets, dirt bikes, Rvs and the like.
This is purely because of the nature of how website are ranked. Going for the previously mentioned niches will take longer than something which is classified as a hobby.
However, I do believe that the Project 24 method could work for any and every niche in the long run.
Content creation
Although Income School is famous for their case studies where a website earned a full time income on only 10, 20 or 30 articles, this isn’t the case for most people.
Those students who see to have seen success most rapidly tend to have more than 100 posts and this is a good target to aim for.
More posts or more videos are just more opportunities to find a winner.
There are the rare cases where people generate massive traffic on less than 100 posts, it really depends on your niche and skill set.
Approach
By far the most common trait among the Project 24 members who have seen success is tenacity.
By putting your head down and doing the work you will generate success for yourself.
This is my philosophy and it’s working for me!
